The proposed visitor experience

Turn a first look into
a richer journey.

Help people understand a place, discover what surrounds it and shape a visit around their interests. The proposed platform connects these moments in one experience.

Proposed selected-site experienceAI concept · illustrative geometry

A sense of place,
before a visit.

Combine destination stories, landmarks and spatial context to help visitors understand what makes a place special. At selected sites, a detailed 3D experience can bring the relationship between streets, landmarks and open spaces into view.

AI-generated illustrative concept of nearby discovery, with fictional sample cafe and stay listings around Har Ki Pauri
Proposed selected-site experienceAI concept · fictional sample services

The attraction is
only the beginning.

Connect places of interest with nearby stays, food, visitor help and local services. Proposed listings carry their source and review information, so discovery can grow around a destination while keeping editorial responsibility clear.

AI-generated illustrative concept of a day plan with numbered destination stops and an illustrative sequence around Har Ki Pauri
Proposed selected-site experienceAI concept · stop sequence, not navigation

From interesting places
to a personal day plan.

Let visitors bring selected attractions and services together in a simple itinerary. A proposed planning layer makes discovery more useful, with a clear distinction between an ordered list of stops and verified navigation, opening information or travel advice.

Explore the sample journey: select an attraction, filter nearby services and arrange a day plan. Sample listings are fictional.

The production approach

How a place becomes
a 3D destination

Regional data and local photography do different jobs. We bring them together with reviewed tourism information to create a connected visitor experience.

Illustrative AI production visuals

A

A regional foundation

Shared geographic context across the programme

Complementary data layers
Illustrative aerial imagery and roads around a riverside settlement

Imagery and map layers

Licensed imagery, roads and map layers put destinations and tourism circuits in context.

Illustrative elevation mesh showing hills and a river valley

Terrain and elevation

Elevation describes the landform: valleys, slopes and ridgelines around each destination.

Illustrative building outlines and volumes around a destination

Footprints and verified places

Footprints with reliable heights supply building volumes. Verified records locate attractions and services.

Regional contextAvailable layers establish broad coverage. Detailed façades require suitable 3D data or local capture.

B

Detailed selected precincts

Commissioned capture for the places visitors explore closely

Photographs to textured 3D
AI illustration of a camera drone and ground camera capturing overlapping photographs of a precinct
01 / Capture

Capture overlapping photographs

Permitted drone RGB photography and ground photographs cover roofs, streets and façades from overlapping views.

Illustrative textured 3D reconstruction with visible mesh detail
02 / Reconstruct

Reconstruct and texture

Align photographs, build the mesh and apply textures. Check missing surfaces, geometry and agreed accuracy.

Illustrative 3D destination displayed on a laptop and mobile phone
03 / Publish

Optimise for the web

Create levels of detail, optimise geometry and textures, then test the experience on phones and laptops.

Recognisable local detailCapture and validation define the agreed quality. LiDAR is optional for a specific need.

The two tracks meet

One destination experience

3D precincts + verified destination and service records + visitor itineraries.
Department teams review, publish and refresh the information behind the experience.

Production models require commissioned capture and validation.

Coverage and depth

Regional reach.
Selected destination detail.

Set the geographic scope for your tourism programme, then commission deeper detail where it supports the destination experience.

01 / Shared foundation

Regional destination coverage

A common platform, terrain and licensed map layers connect attractions, local information and tourism circuits.

02 / Selected destinations

Detailed 3D precincts

Commission photography and modelling for defined areas around key attractions, streets and visitor facilities.

03 / Optional site experience

Immersive digital twins

Scope interiors, interpretation, desktop exploration or VR separately for suitable venues and experiences.

Who benefits

Useful to visitors.
Manageable for government.

A shared destination platform supports the people exploring a place and the communities and teams who maintain it.

01 /

Visitors

Explore places in 3D, compare stays and local services, and organise a day plan before travelling.

02 /

Citizens and communities

Give community heritage and local experiences a wider audience, with a way for residents to flag outdated information.

03 /

Local businesses

Help visitors find homestays, guides, shops and food outlets, creating opportunities for referrals and local income.

04 /

District teams

Promote lesser-visited destinations and tourism circuits, with current information to support better-managed tourism.

05 /

State leadership

Coordinate statewide promotion, manage publishing standards and use aggregate visitor-interest insights to guide priorities.

Intended benefits. Referrals, spending and income require separate measurement.

A coordinated programme

One programme.
Clear responsibilities.

Coordinate platform delivery, destination content and selected-site capture through one programme with named responsibilities.

01

Agree the scope

Define geography, priority precincts, content ownership and acceptance criteria.

02

Prepare data

Review rights and coverage, organise records and plan permitted capture.

03

Build the experience

Develop the platform, produce 3D assets and connect destination information.

04

Validate together

Check model quality, record accuracy, accessibility, security and target devices.

05

Operate and refresh

Train teams, publish approved records and maintain services, content and models.

Proposed departmental workflow

District knowledge.
State publishing standards.

Example: an attraction’s entrance description changes. An assigned team checks the update before visitors see the revised information.

  1. 01

    District submits

The local content owner proposes the entrance update with its source, date and supporting evidence.

  2. 02

    Reviewer checks

An authorised reviewer checks the evidence and records editorial and field-verification status separately.

  3. 03

    Approved change publishes

The destination page shows the updated entrance description and review date for visitors.

  4. 04

    Owner keeps it current

A named owner reviews the record again when it changes or reaches its next review date.

Visible visitor result

Clearer entrance information on the destination page. The published record carries its source and review date. Previous versions remain in the departmental audit history.

Questions and scope

Your questions, answered.

What the platform proposes, what the showcase demonstrates, and how a production programme is scoped.

Does every location need a high-detail 3D model?

No. A regional map and terrain foundation can support broad destination coverage, while detailed capture is scoped for selected precincts. Optional immersive twins or VR experiences add another level of detail at suitable sites. The layers are planned together rather than treating every location as the same production task.

Is the Har Ki Pauri showcase a measured survey?

The working showcase is an authored, approximate reference model of the Har Ki Pauri precinct. It demonstrates interactive 3D exploration and landmark selection. It is not a measured survey, captured photogrammetry, an authoritative navigation model or a live service directory.

How are the premium visuals different from the working demo?

The three premium visuals are AI-generated illustrative concepts for a proposed experience at selected sites. They show a visual direction for discovery, nearby services and day planning. The interactive reference model and the connected sample journey are separate, functional demonstrations. Their detail and data should be assessed directly.

What makes a destination record trustworthy?

The proposed operating model keeps source references, review dates, editorial status and field-verification status separate. District and state publishing responsibilities, expiry or re-review rules, correction handling and access permissions are agreed during implementation.

What does this demonstration store?

The supplied demo has no analytics tracker, accounts or cookies. Your day plan stays in the current tab unless you export it. Email and telephone links use your own chosen apps. A future hosting provider may keep ordinary access logs under the owner’s hosting policy.

What can the analytics tell us?

The proposed analytics focus on aggregate digital interest, such as destination views and engagement with content or planning features, subject to an agreed privacy policy. They do not establish physical arrivals, completed bookings, visitor expenditure or local business income.
